Each color, line and marking on the face, tongue and nails holds meaning of your internal health. Reading the body’s presentation and changes offers practitioner’s confirmation, or better still, initial direction for the herbs to be consumed.  Some of these indications change when better health is achieved.

Understand the nuances of sitting with humans to really hear and see their medical histories and understand the subtleties of phrases and posture. Learn to read the map of the organ system’s health on the face, in tone of voice and even the toes!  Be able to look at the tongue and body to define their dosha for compliance. Identify indications of colors, lines, markings, rashes, and more, connecting to the stomach, spleen, pancreas, gallbladder, liver, lungs, kidneys, and the heart.

Every herbalist needs this class! Join us for a Reading the Body immersion. This is not a traditional class in the structured sense. It is a living, breathing experience of intention, practice and circle. A class deeply rooted in presence and relationship, science and clinical practice. This immersion will consist of both lecture and hands-on learning.  Please arrive makeup and nail polish free, ready to participate.
