Herbal Roundtable
This is an opportunity to share what your favorite herb is and what you use it for. Is it used medicinally, as landscape plants, in your tea, in your food, in crafts, for folkloric reasons? If you can, bring something for show & tell even if it’s a capsule in a bottle. If you like your favorite in tea maybe bring some tea to share. If it’s in your landscape how about a picture, & if it’s a crafty herb maybe an example of a craft item. Maybe you are using Rosemary for Remembrance, or Sage for Wisdom, Immortality.
Share the wisdom with us.
Got a mystery plant? Bring it in for show & tell and we will try to ID it.

"Grow Great Garden Grub" Aenne Carver
Learn what vegetables to grow each season, how to increase your harvest, how to thwart pests, and how to save money along the way. Carver will explore ways to grow food in containers, hanging baskets, as well as ways to create an unconventional vegetable garden right into your existing landscape. In addition, she will show & tell how to make a couple of delightful dishes. Aenne will present a slide show, pass around items, take questions and devote much of her presentation to growing and using herbs. February is a transitional month. For instance, you might still put in late cool weather edibles like lettuce, but February is too early for warm weather edibles, so Aenne will split the difference and talk about several things from each season. Don’t miss this exciting new talk from Aenne, she is a delightful presenter and a very knowledgeable master gardener.
