Cocoa Butter

Theobroma cacao, Extracted from the seed

Natural Cocoa Butter is the ultimate tan enhancer and skin conditioner. Rich, creamy and aromatic of the chocolate that is it's source. More firm or solid than shea butter, we recommend you shave some out of it's tin with the edge of a spoon and warm in the palm of your hands. Drench your sun tanned body. Add a drop of Lavender essential oil to sooth overexposure. Cocoa Butter with a few drops of  Mandarin and Neroli makes the most wonderful pregnant belly balm. Cocoa Butter contains Oleic acid 34 - 36%, Stearic acid 31 - 35%, Palmitic acid 25 - 30%, Linoleic acid 3%. Ideal for adding to skin creams for it's excellent softening and protective properties. Summer is here and Cocoa Butter is my favorite summer time fling, or bling!

Shea Butter

Butyrospermum parkii, Extracted from the seed

Our Shea Butter is whipped to a light and frothy texture and is packaged in a round, silver tin. African Karite' Tree makes an excellent moisturizer for your body, head to toe!  Even your hair will benefit with the use of shea butter as an overnight treatment. I use shea butter on the tips of my long brown locks to protect and smooth the ends. Your legs will be softer than ever if shea butter is used as an after shave cream. In summer weather it can't be beat for after sun skin care. In the winter it makes a  reliable skin protective barrier from the dry cold air. The tiniest dab will do to combat dryness and wrinkles on your delicate facial skin. Use as a cuticle softener and hand message cream during your manicure. I love to put a dab of shea butter in the palm of my hand and add a few drops of my favorite essential oil. Shea Butter absorbs more quickly than cocoa butter, is odorless, and contributes to healing, protecting and softening your skin. It's time to throw out those lotions that contain perfumes, synthetics and a list of unhealthy ingredients. Try using natural Shea Butter, and like handmade soap, you'll never go back to mass produced products again. You will see and feel the difference our Shea Butter makes on your skin.We source our Shea Butter from Fair Trade companies who support fair working wages for communities around the world.
